This fund is established in honor of the late Charlotte Han Sharp, wife of Texas A&M University System Chancellor, John Sharp. Charlotte was a close partner in her husband’s long career in politics and public service since his election to the Texas House of Representatives in 1978. Charlotte’s life was guided by her faith and she was a renowned philanthropist, involved in many community and humanitarian efforts, particularly for women, children and young people. The recipient of the “Charlotte Han Sharp Scholarship” shall be a member of the College who raises the most money on Giving Day. Each recipient must be a graduate from a Texas High School and be in good academic standing.
