The School of Criminology, Criminal Justice & Strategic Studies trains students to improve public safety, increase community confidence and protect the constitutional rights of citizens. The School of Criminology, Criminal Justice & Strategic Studies has a mission to support the University in providing a quality educational experience for students while furnishing students with understanding and insight, as well as the ability to critically assess the dynamics of their society, culture and environment to prepare them to participate in a complex, diverse and global world. Leadership in law enforcement and the military is a key attribute that our students acquire. Our exceptional programs in criminal justice, military science and leadership feature faculty who blend practical personal knowledge and experience with theory. We support our students in their development, give them training so they have the know-how for success and prepare them for leadership roles in exciting careers.
